You may argue that your county is nicer than ours but after seeing the 10 photos below you’ll want to pack a bag and come here for a long weekend at least.

Sitting out in the wild Atlantic Ocean, Downpatrick Head is an area of unrivalled coastal beauty and historical importance.

Blousers Pub situated in the beautiful town of Westport was reopened a couple of years ago by Thomas O'Grady and he has done a wonderful job at mixing old and new to create a great spot at all times of day. The interior is one of minimalism which is rare to see in a busy town around Ireland.  It reminded me of Bergins in Ennis a little. And both would be on my list to visit for any pub fan. The building itself is one of Westports oldest hostelries and once welcomed Eamon De Velera where he gave a speech from the window. It closed in 2016 but Thomas took on the challenge of keeping the famous pub going and it seems he is doing a great job, offering touring visitors a taster of poitin and plenty of local history. #mypub #westport

📍Way up to Cliffs of croaghaun HIGHEST Cliffs in Ireland!! 🚨 Tipp!! Almost everybody knows the cliffs of Moher in Ireland, which thousands of tourists are visiting every week. But not many of you know the Cliffs on Achill Island!!! But they are MUCH better and higher!! The „Problem“ but also the benefit is: there is no street or track to these cliffs🤷🏼‍♀️ you have to walk up a big grass slope at the end of Keem Bay. To be honest, I could not believe that there is no track to the highest cliffs of Ireland, so I looked around for a long time and asked many people but it is true 😂 so now you know you have to sweat a lot and walk up this slope BUT it is worth it!! The cliffs are High and wild and Dangerous and you will be the only one standing on the top of them🚨🔥 . . . . . . . . . . . . . . #cliffs #achillisland #croaghaun #wildatlanticway #beach #ireland #hiking #coupletravel #ocean #travel #traveling #TFLers #vacation #visiting #instatravel #instago #instagood #trip #holiday #photooftheday #fun #travelling #tourism #tourist #instapassport #instatraveling #mytravelgram #travelgram #travelingram #igtravel
