Our guided Irish food tour is the ultimate experience for visitors to Westport. While rambling through the streets and alleyways of our beautiful town, we take in some of the finest shops, pubs and restaurants in the country. On this 3 hour tour, we make a number of stops throughout the town and sample everything from local honey and handmade Westport chocolates, to the traditional Irish dishes of yesteryear. While we recommend that you arrive hungry, make sure to leave room for our last stop, where we sample traditional handmade Irish Ice cream, made freshly every day using local milk and ingredients. Our food tour is our most popular tour and as it only goes once per week, places are limited. We recommend that you book early to avoid disappoint. It takes approximately 3 hours and must be booked in advance. Any dietary requirements should be brought to our attention prior to the tour beginning. This tour is held on Thursdays only at 3.30pm and cost €59 per person (Minimum of 6 confirmed bookings for this tour to go ahead. Westport Walking Tours reserves the right to cancel tours and a full refund will be provided in the event of the tour not going ahead.)
You are free to take in the surroundings, record and capture the beauty of Westport and the surrounding areas.
